Located just off the main shopping thoroughfare in St Helier, the Central Market can be found in a beautiful Victorian building that is home to nearly 40 specialist independent traders.
Across the road you will find our fabulous Fish Market with traditional and highly skilled fishmongers serving alongside other artisans and eateries.
History of the Markets
Records show that the Markets have played a central role in Island life for over 400 years and they continue to be an integral part of our community to this day.
Their significance spans heritage, culture, and commerce and, as custodians, we must all ensure that this tradition continues for many years to come.
